Men’s Ministry

For the Men’s Ministry of Community Christian Church, our goal is to connect the men of Community to each other, to help them become fully devoted followers of Christ, and to become the man God intended for them.

Current Study

All men (18 & over) are invited to join us on Wednesdays from 7:00 – 8:30 PM for this informative, entertaining, encouraging, and life-changing quest for authentic manhood. Join us as we pursue our masculine identity as modeled by Jesus Christ. Each weekly session will include a video-based teaching time and a small group discussion as we look at men’s traps, work, marriage, and fatherhood. Required workbook (available in class) is $15. Free childcare (birth – 5th grade) is available. For more information about Men’s Fraternity, email or go to

Men’s Retreat at Lake Aurora
March 1-2, 2019

Theme: Boiling Point
Keynote Speaker 2019: Kent Evans, Louisville, Kentucky

There are so many pressures bringing men to their boiling point but God has provided resources to guide and direct this volatile emotion to a place that honors Him. Uncover the expectations (some valid, some not, some downright unfair) that lead to frustration and anger. We will dig into James 4 in learning to tame this charged emotion.

Cost: $70 – Hold your spot for $35 deposit.

In our attempt to get the most out of life, it is so very easy to lose control of our lives.
Kent will help us remove anger and frustration that comes from our career, home, church, and relationships by looking at our expectations in relation to James 4.
Kent Evans comes to us with resources and insight that will be interactive, engaging but also highly challenging as we explore the expectations underneath it all.
