Hurricane Michael & Florence

For years we have financially supported the work of International Disaster Emergency Service (IDES), an organization that springs into action in the event of natural disasters all around the world.  In the aftermath of Hurricane Florence, IDES is taking action to provide assistance to churches and individuals affected by the storm and the resulting flooding in the Carolinas.

Recovery is expensive for all involved so, aside from prayer, one of the greatest needs is funds to help people recover and rebuild.  To donate to IDES, click here and enter “Hurricane Relief” in the Comments section of the online donation page.

Volunteers may be needed in the weeks following, once the flood waters have receded and churches/individuals are able to return and assess the damage and need.  If you are interested in volunteering as part of the recovery efforts, visit the Contact page on the IDES website and contact them by phone or email to find out more information about volunteering for recovery efforts.
