Hurricane Dorian made landfall in the Bahamas as a Category 5 storm and left behind massive devastation, lost lives, demolished homes and unsalvageable businesses. As the body of Christ, we are called to respond to the needs of our brothers and sisters in crisis.
The Bahamian people need our help. We invite you to engage! Join us in prayer and support efforts for those affected by Hurricane Dorian. Being the hands and feet of Jesus is what Community does best – Let’s Go!
Let’s use the power of prayer and pray daily for those affected by Hurricane Dorian. Let’s lift up those who suffered damages, for those who were injured and the families of those who lost their lives in this storm. Carve out time to pray for those hurting with faith that God will hear our collective love for the people affected by this tragic storm.
Donation of money:
One of the greatest needs at this time is for financial resources for the recovery. Community is partnering with Church United, a group of churches in South Florida of which we are a part because we believe that we can have the greatest impact by working together.
We are encouraging donations to the Church United Angel Relief Fund. This Fund, administered by the National Christian Foundation, ensures that 100% of your donations go directly to the relief efforts and in service of those in desperate need.
