Learn More about Following Jesus

Following Jesus is a 10-week Training for becoming like Jesus and helping others do the same. “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19 (ESV)

This is Jesus’ invitation to know Him, grow to be like Him, and go on a Mission with Him. The goal of this 10-week training is to help all followers of Jesus to know Him better, become more like Him, and join Him on His mission to reconcile everyone to God. When we accept Jesus as our Savior and enjoy the blessings of forgiveness and the hope of eternal life, we also submit to Him as our Lord and King. As Jesus surrendered to the will of His Father, He asks us to do the same.

A small group that meets regularly (at least twice a month) in a variety of locations to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus (Believe), connect in meaningful relationships with other people (Belong), and see a positive difference in your life and the people around you (Become).

Groups are available for every season—from college-aged and on, single or married.

GriefShare

GriefShare (in-person)

Thursdays from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the Conference Room in the Auditorium Building at the Tamarac campus. The next session runs from August 27 to November 19.

GriefShare is a friendly, caring support group of people who will walk alongside you, for 13 weeks, through one of life’s most difficult experiences. The class is designed for men and women who have lost a loved one. You will receive counsel and resources to help you recover from your loss.

More Information

These groups were created to meet another need in our spiritual journey: disciplining our physical bodies. They exist to strengthen ourselves, each other, and our trust in God. All Adventure Groups are Co-Ed.

Run/Walk: Join us monthly in the church Courtyard (Tamarac campus). All running/walking abilities welcome. We target the first Saturday of every month, but days can vary due to church events. You will receive an email the week prior to every meeting with details of times/locations. Sign up for the group by emailing running@communitycc.com
