The next informational meeting is Wednesday, September 20 at 7:00 PM in The Loft (2nd floor) at our Tamarac campus.

Join Pastor Scott and Lori Eynon for an unforgettable and life-changing trip to the Holy Land! We will walk where Jesus walked during this amazing 11-day experience from October 16-26, 2023.

We will visit such awe-inspiring spiritual points of interest as the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Via Dolorosa, Golgotha, the Empty Tomb, the Temple Mount, the Western Wall, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Mount Carmel, the Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, the Mount of Beatitudes, Caesarea Philippi, Jericho, the Jordan River, Qumran, the Dead Sea, and so much more. There is nothing like walking where Jesus walked!

Together we’ll float on the Dead Sea, ride a cable car up to the top of Masada, ride a boat on the Sea of Galilee, have an opportunity to be baptized in the Jordan River, and even have a chance to ride a camel!

Our tour guide is the amazing Dr. Mark Ziese, archaeologist and retired Dean of the School of Bible and Theology at Johnson University in Tennessee. Mark (or Indiana Jones as he is often called) is brilliant, witty, experienced, a great storyteller, and a world-class guide to the Holy Land. We are so fortunate to have Mark guide our trip! Lori and I will serve as your hosts to make this the most spiritually enriching experience of your life.

This trip does require significant walking each day (up to 5 miles on some days) over uneven terrain and up and down stairs. There is little to no access to tour sites for those using a walker or a wheelchair, and it will be difficult for those using a cane. Please consider this before signing up and paying the deposit for this trip.

The cost for the trip of $4,298 per person includes non-stop international flights, 4-star and 5-star hotels, deluxe motorcoaches, daily breakfast, and dinner. The cost does not include daily lunch, some beverages, souvenirs, passport fees, and a few other incidentals. There will also be an additional cost of $150 per person that will cover the guide and other gratuities and supplies for this trip. The $150 per person will be paid to Community Christian as we get closer to the trip departure.

Registrations received between 07/04/23 – 07/18/23 will incur a $100 per person fee. Registrations received 07/19/23 – 08/02/23 will incur a $200 per person fee. Israel no longer requires tourists to be vaccinated to enter the country, but you do need proof of medical insurance that will cover you in Israel in case you get Covid-19. Once you pay the registration fee, I will communicate about trip insurance options that include Covid-19 medical coverage for as little as $30 per person.

It’s one thing to read about a trip, and it’s quite another to see a video about what we will be doing and experiencing! Check out this video that was created for last year’s trip:

Of all the things I’ve ever done to enhance my spiritual growth, standing on the shores of the Sea of Galilee where Jesus walked and taught and looking down on Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives is at the top.

It’s going to be the trip of a lifetime and I hope you can join us!
