Community Kids - Community Christian Church

Our Children’s Ministry serves kids from birth through grade 5 and is affectionately named “Community Kids.” We are a “community” where kids have a great time learning Bible truths. We’ve worked hard to provide a fun and safe environment that is Kid-Tested and Parent-Approved.

Programs are provided for children from birth – grade 5 during all of our Sunday services!

Our goal is that Community Kids would become the best part of your child’s week. We do this by incorporating a three-part vision for our ministry:

Laughing – Kids learn best when they are having fun. They also want to come back again and again. Everything we do has an element of fun added so that it appeals to kids.

Learning – We want to make the Bible come to life for kids. We believe the Bible is not an ancient book that needs dusting once a week. We think it provides practical advice for everyday living – even for kids. We use video, music, lights, drama, puppets, games, and art to make the Bible very real to the kids at Community Christian Church.

Life-Changing – The goal of the Bible is for us to experience life change. We believe that life change can happen to even the smallest members of a family. In addition, we provide weekly materials for our families, which encourage them to sit down and experience life change together.

Safety is a priority at Community Kids. Our volunteers are background screened through Protect My Ministry and committed to ensuring your child’s safety. In addition, we use a security system for check-in. This system allows us to silently page parents in service, should your child need you.

Special Needs Care: A nurturing and inclusive environment designed specifically for individuals on the autism spectrum or with other special needs. Now available at the 11:15 AM service.

DIVE is coming back September 9! – Kids ages 4 through 5th grade can join us at the Tamarac campus on Wednesday nights from 7:00–8:30 PM during the school year for a night of friends, scripture memory, prizes, games, and intentional time learning about Jesus!

It’s the best way for kids to connect with friends and be challenged in their faith. We hope you can join us!

Parents are asked to join us on Wednesday, September 2nd from 7-8pm for the parent orientation. This will be a time to vision-cast for the year, and ways to partner together to help your child dive deep into God’s word.

The cost is $30 per child for the year.
