Hey Community family,

We all know how this pandemic has affected the entire world, not just here in the United States. I can’t wait to get back on a plane to serve as part of an international mission trip, but until we can, I’m so grateful that Community partners with Samaritan’s Purse for an awesome project called “Operation Christmas Child.”

Here’s how it works: You grab one of these shoeboxes, carefully read the instructions inside, then fill it with a few small gifts for a child overseas who may not otherwise receive a single gift this Christmas. You can pick up a shoebox from our Central and South Lobby Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM, or before or after any of our in-person Sunday services. The deadline to return all filled shoeboxes back to Community is Sunday, November 1.

Operation Christmas Child can also be done fully online! Click here for the Build-a-Shoebox-Online web page.

Operation Christmas Child has delivered over 157 million gift-filled shoeboxes to boys and girls around the world. Your participation in Operation Christmas Child will not only brighten the life of a child this Christmas, but could be the first step in that child coming to faith in Jesus Christ.
