Firewall Centers provides daily, school-based tutoring and mentoring services designed to help students achieve academic success, build character, and transform into servant leaders.

Firewall Centers was founded in July 2003 after the tragic death of a 13-year-old girl who overdosed on drugs while left unsupervised during after-school hours. Founders Andy and Janeth Fernandez began meeting weekly in the very mobile home park where the young girl lived and died, providing activities and positive object lessons for its youth. Recognizing the need for a daily positive presence, an after-school mentoring and tutoring center was established. Since 2012 when Firewall Centers began its first after-school program within public schools, the organization has expanded from serving 40 students to now more than 1300 every day

Love live is uniting and mobilizing the church to create a culture of love and life that will result in an end to abortion and the orphan crisis.

Every year, Love Life partners with thousands of believers from local churches and community leaders to prayer walk outside the darkest places in our cities – the local abortion center. Our “40 Week Journey of Hope” is based on a baby’s life in the womb from conception to birth. Every prayer walk consists of a time of prayer, worship, testimonies, the “tragic truth”, and an opportunity to connect with Love Life ministries beyond the prayer walk.

This is not a protest, but a time of prayer and worship.

Programs include one year old to pre-kindergarten age, plus afterschool care for school age children. Over 90% of enrolled children pay a reduced tuition which is made possible through donations from individuals, churches, and organizations who love all of God’s children.

At Heart2Heart, our mission is to connect, advocate, respond and engage to aging adults who are experiencing loneliness and isolation by mobilizing volunteers.

Our volunteers connect in person, with seniors living in care centers or living independently in their homes. They also connect digitally, through weekly video calls and phone calls. They create cards and cozy blankets and drop off care packages. They deliver food and minister to seniors through Bible studies and Sunday services at care centers throughout South Florida.

We fulfill our mission a variety of ways. But ultimately, Heart2Heart is at its best within individual relationships. Volunteers who care can truly see the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of aging adults. These volunteers can help fight off isolation that so many of our aging loved ones in South Florida are experiencing.

The need for compassionate support grows every day. Join our team of amazing volunteers and answer the call for community in someone’s life today.

All across our community there are children and families facing incredible challenges by no fault of their own. We believe that the right resource at the right time can not only meet their tangible needs, but also open a door of hope and transformation.

Since 1997, 4KIDS has been serving children and teens through establishing loving, Christian foster homes. Out of that same heart of service, 4KIDS has expanded our impact to include life-changing prevention for kids in our community. 4KIDS is leading the way in Broward, Palm Beach, the Treasure Coast, and the Southwest Florida counties with an initiative new to our community called CarePortal.

CarePortal is designed to connect churches, business, and individuals with the children and families who are at-risk or already a part of the child welfare system. The needs featured on CarePortal are vetted by child welfare professionals who know the struggles of the families. The top five most frequently requested needs on CarePortal are: beds and cribs, dressers, living room furniture, car seats, and seasonal items.

We believe as a community, when we meet the right need at the right time, we can engage families in meaningful relationships, and we will see more children stay safely at home in their own communities, and see fewer children removed from their homes and entering the foster care system.

When a neighbor has a need, they call Love INC. What’s the first thing they’ll hear? The voice of a caring, well equipped volunteer from one of our partner churches. A volunteer who will take the time to listen and care for the person calling with compassion and discernment; who will inquire about the presenting need, but also explore the broader context of the person’s situation.

Why? Because everything we do revolves around relationships. Love INC isn’t about transactions and checking off boxes. We want transformation for our neighbors, in our churches, and in our communities.

The Florida Statewide Guardian ad Litem Office is the best way to represent the legal interests of Florida’s most vulnerable children, the abused, abandoned and neglected based on data and evidence. Florida law requires the Statewide Guardian ad Litem Office to represent Florida’s children caught in the complex foster care system every day through no fault of their own. They face a world of temporary living situations and intervening professionals with a high turnover rate.  We are the only agency on the child’s case who focuses only on the child and represents the child’s legal interests in court and their social needs in the community.

At Every Mother’s Advocate, we envision a world where mothers are no longer separated from their children due to preventable causes, but are equipped and empowered to raise their children in stable and nurturing homes.

Advocates are trained volunteers with a passion to see families preserved through mother advocacy. The ĒMA Advocate builds a meaningful connection with one mom, works together towards her goals, is a voice box for her progress and needs in the community, and helps her stay connected to support. When a mom has an Advocate, she receives holistic care that solely stems from a place of relationship.

Advocates are paired with a mother from the very beginning of her journey through the program. They are trained and equipped to provide the social, emotional and tangible support vulnerable moms need to move from crisis to stability.

Our Christian mission

As a Christian nonprofit organization, Feed My Starving Children is called to feed God’s starving children hungry in body and spirit. You will hear us say this again and again: “We want to reach everyone, until ALL are fed.” We truly mean this. This means reaching the hard-to-reach people and places, the “least of these.” They will be found, and they will be fed.

With God’s help we will work together with organizations and ministries across the globe to end hunger.

FMSC is a Christian nonprofit organization. We believe Jesus Christ has called us to feed the hungry and serve those in need. We strive to follow his calling every day in all that we do.

In 2003, 16 years after FMSC was founded (1987), the organization was rededicated to the Lord. We placed our focus back on Jesus Christ, committing to honor Him. He has called us to feed his kids, and with his help we will keep reaching farther around the world until ALL are fed.

Our vision

Through God, FMSC will strive to eliminate malnutrition and starvation in children throughout the world by helping to instill compassion in a generation that hears and responds to the cries of those in need until all are fed.

Our statements of belief

As a Christian organization:

We believe there is one God in three persons: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. He has directed us to help others in need.

  • We believe The Gospel is the reason Feed My Starving Children exists. We strive to listen for and follow the will of Jesus Christ every day in all we do.
  • We believe every child has a right to be fed a nutritious meal. “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.” – Matthew 25:35
  • We believe when we “love our neighbors as ourselves,” our lives are enriched. (Mark 12:31) The same is true when we graciously give our own time and resources to help others in need. “Give and it will be given to you.” – Luke 6:38
  • We believe that partnering with other faith based and humanitarian organizations maximizes our ability to feed God’s children and enables our partners to provide more sustainable community development.
