Your Wedding At Community Christian Church
Congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding! We are honored and excited to be a part of your extraordinary day. We desire to help make your wedding both beautiful and meaningful. Your wedding should be a blessing to you and others as they witness a Christ-centered ceremony.
This information has been prepared to assist you in making your decision to have your wedding in Community. It contains our guidelines, process, and all the costs related to having a wedding at the church. If you have questions related to your wedding, please contact Delia Hayward at 954-724-7400
These fees reflect what it costs the church to put on your wedding. There are building costs, such as utilities and custodians, and there are people we pay to come in and run sound, lights and perform the ceremony. Any questions about the fees should be discussed with the pastor performing your ceremony.
Auditorium Wedding Total Cost: $1025
Check, cash, or credit card accepted.
Total Cost includes:
- Counseling Costs: $125
- Personnel and Building Costs: $900
If your wedding is under 75 people, we will use a different room in the building more suited to that size. The cost would be less as it would not require the same personnel or utilities.
Non-Auditorium Wedding: $575
(Areas include The Loft, Courtyard or The Atrium)
If your wedding takes place at another location, travel expenses for the officiant will need to be provided by the couple.
Weddings will be held at the church for members and regular attendees of CCC. This means you must have been attending our services for at least 6 months before submitting your Wedding Application unless approved by staff. All weddings must conclude and have left the building by 7:00 pm on Saturdays. No weddings are to take place on Sundays. Weddings are not scheduled on major holidays, weekends of Easter, Thanksgiving, or Christmas.
Pre-marital counseling is required for everyone desiring to be married at CCC or by a pastor of CCC. The counseling consists of a pre-marriage assessment and 4 hours with one of our pastors or counselors.
We are unable to provide decorating or planning services. If you desire a professional wedding planner and decorator, you must hire them on your own. Delia Hayward serves as a scheduling and facilities coordinator only. She will coordinate your wedding needs and schedule with the staff and all personnel involved
Part of the wedding fees includes custodial services. This will ensure the building is properly prepared for the worship services and you being able to enjoy getting to your rehearsal. Ensure everything you want to keep, like decorations and flowers, has been removed by someone after the ceremony.
Our buildings and grounds are smoke and alcohol-free environments. It is the responsibility of the bride and groom to inform and make sure the wedding party will respectably conduct itself.
Any vendors you bring in, photographers/videographers, florists, professional decorators, must provide proof of liability insurance to work on our premises. Please have your vendors email their proof of insurance to dhayward@communitycc.com. Should you require recommendations for vendors, please contact Delia Hayward at dhayward@communitycc.com.
- After you complete the Wedding Inquiry Form, we will email you a Wedding Application if the date is available. Please read through the agreement and complete the form and submit it with the deposit for the counseling. At that point, your date will be reserved, and pastors will be alerted to see who is available for that date.
Inquiry Form - Get set up to take the online pre-marriage assessment. Once assessments are returned, your counselor or a staff member will contact you to schedule your counseling services. Once the counseling is complete, a pre-marriage counseling letter will be sent to you. Take this letter with you when you get your marriage license, and you will receive a discount on the license cost.
- The pastor who will be officiating your service will contact you to plan out your ceremony. They will give you ideas to make your ceremony special and personal, but it will require you to put thought and effort into making it the best.
- Email Delia Hayward at dhayward@communitycc.com so she can schedule all the personnel and make sure the building will be available and open when you need to plan or decorate. Turn in any final payments then.
- Show up on time with your wedding party for the rehearsal. Since many people will be involved in your wedding, you don’t want them standing around waiting from sound and lights to the pastor officiating. The rehearsal will usually last around 45 minutes. Bring your marriage license so it can be filled out that evening and not forgotten on the wedding day.
- Enjoy your wedding day!
